I used to see failure as something very baddd, like if you failed then that's the end for you.
Failure isn't to make you feel bad in any way. As you said it's a silent teacher most people are ungrateful for. Imagine if the SpaceX didn't face early failures long enough to build sustainable structures. The slow success they amassed, helped them understand each components deeply resulting in more successful launches.
Real success is that slow-burn compound interest on failures, reflections, and boring consistency, not some overnight hack, and those "delays" are just the universe protecting you until your foundation can actually hold the weight. I'm done chasing quick wins
Failure is a teacher.
Failure is part of the journey.
As I thrive in life, I will heed these words in my heart.
I have never read anything before that made me appreciate failure like this,
It all makes more sense now, everytime I failed at a by thing, it gives me more insight to do better next time.
The last line is just humbling and encouraging " the life you want is not hiding, it's waiting for someone who can hold it without breaking"
Thank you Sir for sharing

Thank you for taking this on a deeper level sir🔥
Slow success isn't punishment, it's protection
This really implies to me 🙌
I now realize that the failure and delay I experienced was to pull me back on track.
During the process,i worked on myself,( habits, character etc).and one thing I really learnt from that season of my life is gratitude.
Am always thanking God till today for that delay.
Failure is not the end of life 👌
Thank you very much sir JG 🙏
I see failure as a stepping stone to success.
The number of times you fail teaches you the number of ways that a particular thing doesn't work.
FAILURE ISN'T THE OPPOSITE OF SUCCESS. IT'S THE RAW MATERIAL TO SUCCESS.
THANK YOU FOR OPENING MY EYES TO THIS TRUTH.
MORE GRACE SIR
Succeeding slowly will cost you.
You will have to sacrifice some things for the other. But in the end, it will always pay off.
In the movie "Endgame", all it took was a snap of a finger for Thanos to end the world.
But it wasn't about the snapping of the finger.
It was more than that...
He needed to gather all the infinity stones for that to happen.
I'll liken that to how succeeding slowly works.
A little here and there might seem insignificant until one day, kaboom! The little here and there was compounding until an escape velocity happened.
It's my wish that I, Ezekiel Elom, continue to sacrifice something that will push me to keep improving and growing.
Thomas Edison famously said, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."
Failure is part of the journey of success. There is no true success that is devoid of failure.
Failure do hurt Sir
But just as you have said it does help.
Thank you coach JG.
Failure isn’t the opposite of success. It’s the raw material
If you're not prepared to fail then you're not ready to succeed.
There's so much wisdom in this post.
Thank you Sir JG for sharing 😊
You don’t become great because time passed. You become great because you learned over time.
So insightful
Fail fast—so character arrives before the crown. Succeed slowly—so the crown never crushes you.
Profound words of advice.
When we begin to shift our perspective to this direction, we see success differently; and that changes the ball game.
Thank you Sir JG.
I usually tell my people, you have to become before you become.
You have to be a certain kind of person before you become "THE ONE" for a certain kind of success.
This piece just explained my thoughts expressly. You'd think you're failing but the truth is that you're not just that man yet.
And your current failures are actually making you that man - The Man.
Everybody wants quick success but nobody wants to experience failure.
Real success is that slow-burn compound interest on failures, reflections, and boring consistency, not some overnight hack, and those "delays" are just the universe protecting you until your foundation can actually hold the weight. I'm done chasing quick wins
Thank you for this. sir JG
Man must 'be' before 'becoming' and being will always involve lots of trials and error AKA failures. It is the journey to becoming. Stay through.
Thank you Sensei for investing in my growth.
