S4 | 09: He Taught Me the Power Of Vision & Networking
Leadership Masterclass w/Paul Udah
I met Paul in a queue.
First year of university. Admin building. We were both waiting to sign some paperwork that nobody remembers now, surrounded by the usual chaos of new students trying to figure out where they’re supposed to be.
We started talking about God.
About spiritual growth and purpose. About what we were actually doing with our lives beyond just showing up to class and collecting a degree. It was one of those conversations that starts casual but quickly goes deep—the kind where you realize you’re talking to someone who thinks about life the same way you do.
I didn’t know it then, but I’d just met a brother for life.
We lost touch for over a year. Life happened. Different schedules, different paths, and the usual drift that happens when you’re young and trying to find your footing. Then one day I reached out on Facebook, and I found out we’d both been building—separately, quietly, seriously. We’d each made significant strides in our own journeys.
We reconnected. But this time, we made it deliberate. No more drifting.
We committed to maintaining an inspirational relationship, the kind where you push each other forward instead of just keeping tabs.
Let me tell you about the kind of man Paul is.
During 100 Hours of Personal Growth, you’ve listened to voices like John C. Maxwell, Simon Sinek, Craig Groeschel—the top 1% leaders who shape how we think about influence and impact.
But if you asked me to name one leader I know personally—someone I’ve had real conversations with, watched closely, and followed his journey and manner of life...
If you asked me to recommend a voice of leadership from God’s perspective, someone with a clear hunger for people development that actually improves the quality of our society...
If you asked me to show you leadership that isn’t a far-fetched theory but a lived example for every young person in Africa and across the globe...
I raise you… Paul Donatus Udah.
Paul’s Inspirational Journey
Paul’s passion for leadership led him on a quest to further his education in the discipline, but not just anywhere—he wanted a learning structure that was robust and reputable enough to put him alongside leaders across the entire continent of Africa.
By that time, Paul had already conquered his hometown of Uyo, Nigeria.
He’d organized events that shaped the conversations in the city and built a mentorship practice that produced top-notch, top 5% individuals. Some of his mentees now sit as key members in government establishments.
He could have stayed comfortable right there.
But this vision to expand his leadership capacity—talk about a leader who doesn’t settle until global standards become his baseline—led him to the African Leadership University in Kigali, Rwanda.
As a close friend, I knew this was a daring dream. A vision that would require a heart that believes in more despite current realities, especially considering his financial position at the time.
Long story short: Paul is on course to graduate.
But that’s not the real story (I wanted to share).
At ALU, Paul achieved a historic milestone.
He became the first-ever Nigerian Student Union Government President of the university.
I’ll save the full story about how Paul achieved this despite the difficult ordeals he faced, despite the disadvantages that loomed over the entire campaign—that’s a masterclass in itself.
Paul is proof that vision is the first ingredient for successful leadership of yourself, your team, and any organization you touch.
This is no theory.
This is a visionary human and leader at play.
Now let me tell you what he did for me.
In 2024, I was preparing to host one of the biggest events of my life. And in the middle of planning, I discovered I was at a serious disadvantage—I had a poor network of relationships in the city.
I didn’t know the right people and didn’t have access to the doors I needed to open. I only had one name in mind to help me remedy the situation.
You guessed it. Paul.
At the time, Paul was in the diaspora, deep in his studies of leadership at ALU in Rwanda. But distance didn’t stop him from committing to help me with his network in the city. All the important doors I needed to knock on, all the influential people I needed on my team—one call from Paul was all it took to summon them.
I watched in real time as I went from not knowing a lot of people to suddenly having a network of contacts that delivered a solid event.
The kind of connections that take most people years to build were handed to me through the strength of one man’s relational equity.
After the event was over, I sat down in all honesty and reflected on how influential making the right connections can be to life’s success.
That was when I decided to take networking very seriously.
And Paul has become a master of network and relationship building.
There’s no better person to teach this than the man who successfully influenced an event that hosted over a thousand people without even being physically present (during planning).
Paul was one of our guests. We had to fly him in from Rwanda.
This Saturday, Paul is teaching.
We decided to dedicate Saturdays at 100 Hours of Personal Growth for an exclusive masterclass for all participants.
I couldn’t think of a better name to come teach us and bring home the subject matter of leadership.
Paul is an executive leadership coach and educator with a passion for developing young leaders to wield influence that shapes culture and society.
And he’s going to teach from experience he’s lived and embodied—not theory, not principles copied from someone else’s playbook.
Paul Udah will show you what top 1% leaders know and practice—the stuff you may never find out unless someone who’s done it tells you directly.
From a practical and relatable standpoint, he’ll expose:
How elite leaders clarify vision when everything’s unclear
How they build relationships that open doors
How they collaborate to 10x impact
You’re either in the room or you’re guessing.
Here’s how to join
The masterclass is free for all 100HPG participants.

Day 9 of 100 HPG.
Dr Linus Okorie said it best:
“Leadership flows to the one who knows.”
If you’ve ever wondered why some people are better at leadership and influence than you are, be in the room and experience my brother and friend, Paul Udah.

Sir Paul Udah, the Leader of Leaders.
I look forward to this Masterclass.
Thank you Sensei for doing this for us.
If I have my way, I never want to miss a session where Mr. Paul is teaching. And for this one, I have my way.
Looking forward to 7pm
